A négociant winery in the heart of downtown Orlando, Quantum Leap’s goal is to reduce the carbon impact of the vineyard-to-table process. Grapes are purchased from small producers around the world who crush and take them through the initial fermentation. The bulk juice is transported to Orlando in large reusable vessels greatly reducing the carbon footprint associated with the logistics of moving large quantities of wine around the world. Once in Orlando, the last 90-ish percent of the winemaking process is completed. During each step a great deal of effort is made to shave off more carbon “points”, while still staying committed to making the best wines possible.
As Sales Manager and de facto Brand Ambassador I run the direct to consumer side of the business, managing the Wine Club and Tasting Room, writing copy for the labels and technical materials for the trade, and training the sales staff to speak from the brand story. Outside the winery, I act as the liaison to our distribution partners and key accounts in the market. With the support of my staff and partners in the trade I have kept a 30% year over year sales growth since coming on board.
